$.confirm is not a function when used inside onClick function

I am trying to implement jQuery confirm into an app I am working on. I have the followinng code.

<!-- Bootstrap CSS -->
<script src="~/Scripts/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery-confirm/3.3.0/jquery-confirm.min.css">
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery-confirm/3.3.0/jquery-confirm.min.js"></script>

<button type="button" class="example2" id="example2">Test</button>
<a href="home" class="confirm">Go to home</a>

<script type="text/javascript">

    $(".example2").click(function(event) {
            title: 'Confirm!',
            content: 'Simple confirm!',
            buttons: {
                confirm: function () {
                cancel: function () {
                somethingElse: {
                    text: 'Something else',
                    btnClass: 'btn-blue',
                    keys: [
                    action: function () {
                        this.$content // reference to the content
                        $.alert('Something else?');

The first part is my imports, second is my two buttons and the last part is my function.

Scenario / Problem

When I run the program, The “Confirmed!” alert is showed which is expected.
Also, When I click the “Go to home” A ref, a confirm dialog is also shown.

The problem I am facing is, When I click the test button, I get an error that $.confirm is not a function. Furthermore, If i remove the $.comfirm from the $(".example2").click(function(event) { . When the page is reloaded the confirm dialog appears, but this time is says $.alert is not a function.

I am honestly at a lost as to why this is occurring, I would understand my jquery not loading properly but it seems to work but not in the onclick function

$.confirm is not a function when used inside onClick function
